ABOUT

My name is Jessica Redmerski-Tacu. I’ve published more than twenty novels under several pen names. I’m a New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, and #1 Amazon best-selling author. I also do my own cover art, interior design and formatting, fantasy maps, promo and web graphics – and that’s where Lonely Raven Studios comes in!

Because I’m an author first (traditionally and self-published), I’ve had to learn the industry, from the printed word to graphic design, and knowing what readers look for aside from the story itself. I’ve been self-publishing for a decade, so I’ve had a lot of time to learn.

I have a YouTube channel and I want to teach you everything I know (and work for you, if you really need it!), from publishing to promoting, editing, writing, and book design. I’ll be talking about query letters, the dreaded synopsis, agent rejections, price points, book swag, book tours, advertising, reviews, writer’s struggles, social media, my successes, and failures, and even tell you how I went from welfare to seven figures. Be sure to subscribe to my channel! By subscribing, you’ll get notified every time I release a new video.

It is true that you should never judge a book by its cover. But it’s also true that many readers do! And as an author trying to wade through a million other authors all striving for the same spotlight, you want to utilize every creative weapon in your arsenal – number one, being your book cover. I can help you do that. What’s the next thing a reader sees if they get past your cover? The interior, obviously. And you want it to be as crisp and clean and readable (trust me, I’ve seen many that weren’t!) and as professional as it can be. I can help you with that, too.

I also do non-book-related graphics such as WordPress design, logos, promotional materials, etc. If you’re looking for something in particular, just ask! I can’t promise I’ll be able to pull it off, but I’ll try! I’m even here for publishing advice – and that information will always be free on my YouTube channel!

Contact me if you think I’d be a good fit for your project. If not, let me know what you’re looking for and I can refer you to other designers, artists, and photographers who I have personally worked with in the past.
